Ora Developers launched the ZED Winter Festival for the third year in a row, ZED Park in Sheikh Zayed, on Friday, November 12, and will continue until February 2022.
The festival has been a proven success since its launch, it has now become a designated must-do winter activity every holiday season. Over its last two iterations, it has driven significant traffic to the park by offering an array of attractions and entertainment for visitors. That includes live performances, roaming busker experiences, a wide array of carnival rides and games for the whole family, along with a huge food district, all in the heart of ZED Park.
For this year’s highly anticipated ZED Winter Fest, leading real estate company Ora Developers is presenting a wide range of attractions including the trademark Ferris wheel, along with endless other carnival games, parades, stage performances and rides. The Winter Fest’s opening weekend (12-13 November) will feature performances from Egyptian mega-stars Mahmoud El Esseily and Abu, as well as an exhilarating firework show, roaming entertainment, international group parades, and buskers’ performances held several times throughout the day.
CEO of Ora Developers Egypt Haitham Abdel Azim commented: “At Ora Developers, we are now taking last years’ experiences of managing and delivering the Winter Fest to provide our visitors with a whole new level of entertainment and professionalism, and we believe that through this year’s festival, we will be able to prove to the public, especially families and friend groups, that events taking place at ZED Park are now the go-to entertainment destination. We can’t wait to show the public what we have to offer this time around.”
One of the unique performances that ZED Park will introduce to visitors during the 2021 ZED Winter Fest is a unique orchestral and DJ concert fusion concept that features 3 genres of music: classical, pop, and dance. The live performance will include a full DJ set by Rodge, one of the most celebrated DJs in the region as well as an orchestra conducted by Michel Fadel, a Lebanese composer and pianist. Festival goers will experience a one-of-a-kind show with 100 performers and musicians on stage, including a massive choir.
Other activities that will be taking place at the entertainment destination during the running time of the Winter Fest include a live performance by Lebanese pop superstar Nancy Ajram, a Christmas market and Christmas themed live show and choir, an interactive jamming session, a giant LED puppet show, a mini kids pop show, as well as regular live busker performances and roaming entertainment throughout the park.
As with all other activities and events held at ZED Park, and to ensure the safety of everyone involved, the park has been sanitized completely, sanitization areas have been installed all over the park and social distancing is highly encouraged. Following the commencement of the ZED Winter Fest, Ora Developers will also be bringing back the Middle East Music Event (MEME) to ZED Park, as part of its continuous efforts to secure a continuous exciting calendar of events and activities at the park, for all park goers.
