Alhejaz gardens appoints Dr. Ahmed Samir El-Desouky as Chief Commercial Officer to support growth, expansion plans
Alhejaz Gardens Real Estate has appointed Dr. Ahmed Samir El-Desouky as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), reinforcing its commercial leadership as the company accelerates its expansion strategy and prepares to launch a new portfolio of real estate projects, in line with its plans to strengthen its presence in Egypt’s property market.
Dr. Ahmed Samir El-Desouky joins Alhejaz Gardens Real Estate as the company gears up to launch a new portfolio of projects, including Lamar, a residential development in Maadi; The Sign, a mixed-use commercial and administrative project; a fully integrated residential community in New Cairo.
Alongside two additional developments in Sheikh Zayed City, these launches form part of the company’s broader expansion strategy to strengthen its presence across Egypt’s fastest-growing real estate markets.
Dr. Ahmed Samir El-Desouky, CCO at Alhejaz Gardens Real Estate, said that the company possesses strong fundamentals that position it for a significant growth phase, supported by more than 30 years of experience in Egypt’s real estate market, a diversified project portfolio, and a clear expansion strategy focused on delivering developments that meet the evolving needs of homebuyers and investors.
He added that the company is implementing a comprehensive commercial strategy aimed at generating EGP 15bn in sales within one year by strengthening its sales and marketing platform, expanding partnerships with real estate brokerage firms, and enhancing both direct and indirect sales channels to drive sustainable growth and increase market share.
Dr. Ahmed Samir El-Desouky brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate development and investment sectors across Egypt, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. He began his career in 2002 as a Sales Executive and steadily advanced through the ranks before assuming leadership of commercial divisions at several of the region’s leading real estate developers from 2016 onward.
Throughout his career, El-Desouky has held senior leadership positions at prominent companies, including Coldwell Banker Egypt, Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG), SODIC, DAMAC Properties, La Vista Developments, Amer Group, MG Developments, NCB Developments, ADC Developments, and Wealth Holding Developments, among others.
In these roles, he led the development of commercial strategies, restructured sales operations, oversaw project launches, built high-performing sales teams, and contributed to achieving the companies’ growth and expansion objectives.
Dr. Ahmed Samir El-Desouky has a distinguished academic background. He holds a Diploma in Marketing and Sales from the American University in Cairo (AUC), as well as Master’s and PhD degrees in Psychology and Master’s and PhD degrees in International Law.
He also earned MBA and DBA degrees from the UAE, in addition to an MBA and DBA from RB College at the British University in Egypt (BUE). He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Financial Management at the American University in Cairo (AUC).
