Egyptian Swiss Group Launches Blood Donation Campaign in Cooperation with Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357
The Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates has launched a blood donation campaign to encourage employees to donate blood across its operational facilities, as part of its comprehensive corporate social responsibility strategy.
The initiative is being held in cooperation with Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357, with the aim of supporting children battling cancer and helping secure adequate blood supplies and blood derivatives essential for their treatment and healthcare.
The initiative reflects the group’s broader vision of adopting a strategic and sustainable approach to social responsibility by creating a meaningful and lasting impact on society, particularly through supporting vital sectors, foremost among them healthcare.

The campaign is being organized in coordination with the Friends of the National Anti-Cancer Initiative Association under the slogan “A Drop of Blood = A Life”, aiming to promote awareness of blood donation and transform it into a sustainable institutional practice that reflects employees’ social responsibility and commitment to saving lives.
Eng. Ahmed El Sebaie, General Manager of the Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates, said the campaign reflects the group’s strong belief in the importance of active community engagement and its commitment to transforming corporate social responsibility initiatives into tangible and sustainable support for children with cancer.
He added that fostering a culture of volunteerism and humanitarian giving among employees represents a true reflection of values such as belonging and altruism.
Promoting blood donation, he noted, contributes directly to this humanitarian mission by supporting young patients at Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357, many of whom require continuous blood transfusions, while also highlighting the health and humanitarian benefits for donors.
El Sebaie further emphasized that the cooperation between the Egyptian Swiss Group and Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 represents a strong model of institutional collaboration that supports the continuity of healthcare initiatives and expands their positive social impact.
