Zinox El Zenouki Targets Expansion into Non-Traditional Markets and Diversification of Raw Material Sources
Zinox El Zenouki and Master El Zenouki are participating in the 139th edition of the Canton Fair in China, one of the world’s largest trade exhibitions, taking place from April 23 to 27, in a move aimed at accelerating international expansion and strengthening their presence in key export markets. The participation is being coordinated with the Engineering Export Council of Egypt.
Mahmoud El Zenouki, Chief Executive Officer of Zinox El Zenouki and Master El Zenouki, stated that participating in the Canton Fair represents a strategic milestone within a comprehensive expansion plan aimed at opening new export channels and reaching a broader base of international buyers. He noted that the exhibition provides a platform that brings together leading manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors of cookware and raw materials from around the world.
Export Expansion in Asia and Eastern Europe
El Zenouki explained that through this participation, both companies seek to strengthen their global market presence, with a particular focus on expanding into non-traditional Asian markets, as well as deepening their footprint in Eastern Europe, which is considered a promising region aligned with the competitive positioning of Egyptian products in terms of quality and price.
He added that the exhibition offers a direct opportunity to engage with new importers and establish long-term partnerships, supporting the companies’ strategy to diversify markets and reduce reliance on specific regions, especially amid the rapidly evolving global landscape. This, in turn, contributes positively to the sustainability of export growth.
El Zenouki said: “The Canton Fair is one of the most important international gatherings in the cookware sector, bringing together major producers, manufacturers, and raw material suppliers, providing a real opportunity to showcase Egyptian industrial capabilities to the global business community.”
Diversifying Supply Chains
He emphasized that participation also comes within the framework of a strategic direction to diversify supply chains, particularly in light of ongoing changes in the global economy and supply networks. He explained that attending major international exhibitions helps build direct relationships with raw material suppliers and industrial partners, thereby enhancing operational flexibility.
He further noted that both companies are working on restructuring their supply and distribution channels to align with the requirements of different markets, with a focus on reducing logistics costs and improving operational efficiency—factors that represent key pillars of competitiveness in the global cookware industry.
Global Strategy
El Zenouki highlighted that participation in international exhibitions has become a cornerstone of the companies’ growth strategy, pointing out that previous experiences, such as their participation in the Ambiente exhibition in Germany last February, contributed to opening new markets and strengthening the global positioning of Egyptian products.
He added that during the coming phase, both companies aim to enhance their presence in U.S. and European markets, while also exploring new opportunities in Asia, capitalizing on shifts in global trade dynamics that create room for Egyptian products to compete effectively thanks to their balance of quality and price.
New Growth Opportunities
He affirmed that the current phase represents a significant opportunity for Egyptian industry to strengthen its global presence, especially as markets increasingly move toward diversifying import sources and reducing dependence on traditional suppliers. This creates favorable conditions for Egyptian companies to penetrate new markets.
