Samsung Electronics has maintained its leading position in the “Best Global Brands of 2025” ranking published by YouGov, securing the top spot globally according to consumer opinions.
This marks the second consecutive year Samsung has topped the list, after ranking fourth in 2017. The company has remained within the top four positions in YouGov’s annual rankings, securing second place in 2021 before achieving first place in 2022.
Among the top 10 global brands of this year, Samsung is one of only two brands from Asia. Notably, YouGov did not release a top 10 global brands list in the “Best Global Brands” rankings for 2023 and 2024.

“Brands have never been more important — and in today’s dynamic marketplace, where consumer sentiment can make or break a company’s success, understanding brand perception is imperative,” said YouGov CEO Steve Hatch.
The “Best Global Brands of 2025” rankings by YouGov are based on the analysis of over one million consumer surveys across 28 markets, aiming to identify the most distinguished brands both globally and locally. Participants are asked to evaluate thousands of brands based on six key criteria: impression, quality, value, customer satisfaction, reputation, and recommendation.
Samsung’s brand value surpassed the $100 billion mark for the first time in last year’s ranking, with “Interbrand” attributing this achievement to the company’s continuous expansion of its product portfolio, supported by artificial intelligence technologies.
Additionally, the significant benefits consumers gained from enhanced device connectivity, as well as the company’s ongoing commitment to a more sustainable future, played a crucial role. In October 2024, Samsung was ranked among the “Top 5 Global Brands” by “Interbrand” for the fifth consecutive year in its annual “Best Global Brands” list.
