Remal Developments unveils flagship project WESTCLAY in west Cairo

Remal Developments announced its first real estate project, WESTCLAY, strategically positioned in a prime location meticulously chosen by the company, highlighting its commitment to the importance of location in a project’s success.

The company has partnered with a select group of industry leaders to bring this project to life, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and excellence for clients and the real estate market.

The announcement was made at a press conference where the company unveiled project details before a large audience of journalists and media representatives. During the event, Remal Developments shared its plans for executing the project, emphasizing its commitment to international standards. The company also presented key elements of its future plans and its vision for real estate market.

Abdel Wahab Khalil, Chairman of Remal Developments, highlighted the company’s innovative and unconventional vision for creating distinctive real estate products in projects that meet international standards. This approach allows the company to plan its developments in a unique way, delivering real estate projects with a one-of-a-kind character.

Khalil stated that the urban development initiated by the Egyptian government over the past decade offers substantial investment opportunities. While the real estate market can accommodate diverse ideas and companies, success and sustainability are reserved for those with experience, thorough studies, and strong financial standing.

He also highlighted that Remal Developments has a proven track record in investing across various sectors, particularly in construction and building materials transportation.

He explained that the WESTCLAY project is a mixed-use development, including residential, commercial, administrative, and hotel components, with a total investment of EGP 15bn. The project is being financed through the company’s own resources, as Remal Developments possesses strong expertise and financial solvency, which support its ambitious plans to quickly establish a leading position in the real estate market.

He pointed out that the company’s plan for the project construction aligns with its launch strategy. Remal Developments has a plan for rapid execution, with work set to begin in the first quarter of 2025. The company plans to invest EGP 2bn in the project next year, reflecting a fast and continuous construction plan alongside strong financial solvency.

He also highlighted that the company has partnered with a number of successful collaborators to ensure the project is completed to the highest standards of quality, excellence, and precision. MTA – Mohamed Talaat Architects will serve as the project’s engineering consultant, a distinguished firm with a proven track record of excellence.

For his part, Mohamed Khattab, Cheif Commercial Officer at Remal Developments, stated that the WESTCLAY project is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to offer innovative residential and commercial solutions that meet market needs and align with the latest global trends in real estate development. The project features modern, sophisticated designs that combine luxury and comfort, in addition to using modern and sustainable construction technologies.

Khattab explained that the project boasts a unique strategic location in 6th of October city, west Cairo, one that is difficult to replicate. This location places the project amidst a range of educational, entertainment, and medical services, offering residents the highest standards of quality of life within the development.

He pointed out that the project is located in the fourth tourist district of 6th of October city, and is well connected to surrounding vital areas. It is just one minute away from the main highways (Dashur Link – 26th of July Axis – Al-Wahat Road), 3 minutes from Mall of Egypt, 2 minutes from Juhayna Square, 3 minutes from Cairo University in October, 2 minutes from Dar Al-Fouad Hospital, 1 minute from Mall of Arabia, and 2 minutes from Misr University.

He added that the project spans over 25 acres, and in addition to the surrounding external services, a variety of internal amenities have been provided within the project. These include a social club, 2 padel tennis courts, a football field, a cycling path, an indoor swimming pool, a walking track, a children’s play area, an outdoor cinema, barbecue areas, landscaping, and lakes. The project also offers a range of unit sizes.

He disclosed that the units range in size from one-bedroom to three-bedroom apartments, with building heights limited to ground floor plus four stories. The company plans to begin delivering the project within three years of its launch.

Remal Developments has its own contracting arm, which will be relied upon to execute the project according to the required specifications and within the specified timeframe, enhancing trust with their clients.
