Schneider Electric & AVEVA Host First Software-Focused Event to in Egypt
Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, announced it will act as the official distributor of AVEVA’s Solutions, a global leader in industrial software in the Egyptian market. This collaboration allows both companies to accelerate digital transformation efforts in the local industrial sector. The partnership was announced during the first joint event hosted by Schneider Electric and AVEVA in Egypt in the attendance of their loyal business partners of system integrators, machine integrators, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) & industrial automation distributors.
During the event, Schneider Electric and AVEVA showcased the latest software solution updates, new business models, Go-to-Market & partner programs. The event featured four different sessions given by senior speakers from both entities to shed light on the latest updates and solutions to the attending audience and concluded with an award ceremony to recognize certified AVEVA system integrators.
The software solutions provided by AVEVA – distributed by Schneider Electric in Egypt – are brand-agnostic, making them compatible with a variety of hardware brands. With more than +140 solutions suitable for different industries – such as water and wastewater, infrastructure, and smart cities – AVEVA’s solution portfolio fits enterprises of all sizes and can be tailored to meet specific customer requirements. The products also included AVEVA PI System, a solution portfolio that enables real-time reliable operations data collection, storage, and access to provide decision-makers in critical and fast-paced industries with data analytics. AVEVA Manufacturing Execution System was another product showcased, allowing enterprises to digitize, optimize and govern their operational processes and work activities across industrial manufacturing plants. Finally, AVEVA Unified Operations Center was demonstrated, which combines information from different sources into a single environment for enterprise visualization.
