Launching of El-Sisi’s initiative, “Her Diary”, to support women

The largest awareness campaign to care for women’s health, is launched with the participation of senior cosmetic and nutrition specialists, based on the concern for women’s health and in line with the state’s efforts in that regard, which emerged with the launch of the President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s initiative, “Her Diary”, to support the health of the Egyptian women.

Dr. Heidi Assem, Pharmacist and founder of the “Her Diary” group, announced the launch of a community awareness campaign on means and mechanisms for caring for women’s health, with the participation of senior doctors and specialists in the fields of dermatology, cosmetics, nutrition and public health.

Dr. Heidi Assem said that the campaign began its efforts through the “Her Diary” group on the social networking site Facebook, and relied on ways to educate women about how to take care of their general health, skin and hair care, as well as her proper nutrition. Care was taken to have senior doctors periodically present to answer various inquiries and provide advice on scientific grounds.

She explained that the idea of the campaign came as a belief in the role of attention and care for the skin and the external appearance of women, as it reflects on mental and physical health in general, creating a state of calm and recharging the energy for Egyptian women to complete their practical and societal roles.

She indicated that caring for women’s health and beauty is the beginning to create a better life as the group provides advice on the best products that suit women and how to choose them in line with the nature of the skin and health factors, based on the nominations of senior doctors and specialists in the field of dermatology and cosmetics.

Advice on appropriate nutrition programs for losing weight or for a better healthy life is also provided.

She mentioned that members are allowed to explain the experiences of using some products and provide advice on the reasons for the failure of the product to achieve the desired goal, with the nomination of what is commensurate with the nature of the skin and body.

She pointed out that clinics and companies that wish to be present in the group and advertise their products are selected to ensure that impartial and appropriate advice is provided to members to be provided with the best experiences.

Dr. Heidi Assem revealed that during the coming period, work will be done to hold conferences and attend many events to communicate directly with women and provide them with the best advice.

She has been working in the field of medical cosmetics for more than 10 years, and gained experience by attending many courses and conferences as well as worked in international beauty companies of multinationalities including Polish and German.
