Ghoneim Developments Group inaugurates Ghoneim square in Mokattam contributing in developing the district
Ghoneim Developments Group “GDG” inaugurated Ghoneim square on Counselor Abdel Meguid Mahmoud Axis in Mokattam, among the group’s efforts to contribute in the city’s development and enhance its aesthetic and service quality, reflecting its belief in the private sector’s role as a key partner in supporting development and improving the quality of life.
The inauguration was attended by Eng. Kamal Ghoneim, GDG Chairman, Islam Ghoneim, Vice Chairman and CEO, Eng. Walid Shawky, Mokattam District Chief, and several other leaders and the group’s teamwork.
Eng. Kamal Ghoneim, GDG Chairman, assured that contributing in the development of the square is an extension of the company’s vision to actively participation in the development of vital areas in Mokattam region and enhance its urban landscape, in alignment with the scale of development witnessed by the Egyptian state in the infrastructure and urban development sectors.
He pointed that the opening of the square reflects the group’s ongoing commitment to contribute in the development of a modern urban environment that fits Mokattam residents, emphasizing that the group believes that true development starts with focusing on both the place and its people, and by developing the areas surrounding projects, recognizing the project as an integral part of its surrounding community.
He added that Ghoneim Developments Group has played a significant role over the past years in supporting the infrastructure of modern Egypt, through the implementation of more than 20 diverse projects, including residential, administrative, and industrial developments, within Mokattam district, which reflects the group’s strong confidence in the area and its belief in its investment and development opportunities.
He showed that the opening of this square stems from the group’s belief in the importance of the private sector’s social role as a key partner in achieving sustainable development, as the group are working diligently to expand their development efforts in their projects and the surrounding areas, so that we may all witness the creation of more organized, developed, and higher-quality communities.
Islam Ghoneim, GDG Vice Chairman and CEO, said that cooperation between the private sector and executive bodies has become a key element in achieving genuine sustainable development, noting that the project was implemented in collaboration with Mokattam district Authority, in a model that reflects the importance of integrated roles to serve citizens and improve the level of public services and facilities.
He expressed his gratitude to Mokattam District Authority for its support and cooperation throughout the project’s implementation phases, assuring the Group’s commitment to launch further development initiatives aimed at supporting the city and enhancing its efficiency in the coming period.
He assured that Ghoneim Square is a new addition to the urban landscape of Mokattam and a step that reflects the Group’s commitment to participate in community development and support the state’s efforts towards more organized, developed, and modern cities.
