Eng. Mohamed Moatasem, General Manager of Carlcare Egypt, stated that the company initially launched Free Maintenance Day three years ago, held every last Tuesday of the month. Due to high customer demand and branch overcrowding, the company has now expanded the initiative to three days—Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday—starting February 2025.
Discounts and Free Services
Moatasem added that all repair services during these days will be discounted by 10% to 20%, and in some cases, the discount may be even higher depending on the service and spare parts needed. Additionally, customers can benefit from free software updates with no limit on the number of devices serviced per customer. Other free services include cleaning the charging port, speaker, or microphone.
Online Booking and Faster Service
Carlcare customers can book their appointments through the Carlcare app or website at the nearest branch among its 33 locations across Egypt. They can also specify the issue and required spare part, ensuring its availability at the branch before their visit, thus saving time and effort.
Device Repairs in Just Two Hours
Moatasem emphasized that Carlcare’s primary goal is to reduce repair times, with 80% of devices being repaired and returned to customers within just two hours, provided the required spare parts are available.
Carlcare’s Expansion Plans in Egypt
Looking ahead, Carlcare has ambitious expansion plans in the Egyptian market, particularly with the increasing local production of smartphones. Notably, the warranty period for locally manufactured phones has been extended to 18 months, compared to 12 months for imported devices, ensuring higher product quality and supporting local manufacturing.
